As a luxury wedding planner and event designer specialising in UK destination weddings, I’m lucky enough to get to work with couples from all over the world, who are drawn to the particular charm and beauty of an English countryside wedding. Serina and Will are based in the USA, and it was a real privilege to be trusted with their wedding day vision. The first time they saw their venue in person – the grand and gorgeous Kimberley Hall – was at the wedding itself, and I loved being able to be their trusted advocate on the ground in the UK, making sure every element they were dreaming of came together perfectly.

Serina and Will were looking for a quintessential English garden wedding, and as it happened, that also meant we got quintessential English garden weather, with a huge downpour! However, nothing could put a dampener on their spirits, and the atmosphere was electric – this couple and their loved ones definitely brought their own sunshine! Thankfully the rain stopped eventually, and the golden hour moments were absolutely beautiful.

We created a decadent garden party feel with luxurious outdoor floral installations in shades of deep green, cream and pale pink, hanging chandeliers and tables overflowing with flowers. As night fell, we lit up the sky in an amazing fireworks display.
