A marquee wedding at home

Wedding Day Management is the perfect service for creative couples who want to be in control of their vision, design and planning, but who also understand that they don’t want to spend their wedding day thinking about spreadsheets and timelines and logistics! We started working with Charlotte and Ed with eight weeks to go until their wedding to allow them to relax and have the best day possible. And what a day they had planned – wild, natural, personal and incredibly elegant.

We oversaw marquee set up at the private residence that was to host the reception after Charlotte and Ed’s church wedding (for which we organised guest transport). Charlotte works in textiles, and she designed the intricately patterned tablecloths to represent both her family and Ed’s. These were hand printed in India and they set the tone beautifully for the atmosphere and the décor in the marquee – I cannot emphasise enough how gorgeous they were!

Warmth and a sense of abundance were key here, with long tables glowing with lamps and candles, and a fragrant froth of flowers in shades of cream, red, pink and coral.

Charlotte brought together her vision with finesse, creativity and a real sense of style, and being able to make sure that vision was executed in an exemplary way was a huge privilege. What a wedding!
