A country estate wedding weekend

married at Worstead Estate

The picture of elegance, this black-tie wedding had focus for the florals and evening entertainment that had everyone on the dancefloor all night. Kat from Ivy Floral Events executing our floral vision, designing a cascade of white blousy roses, orchids and anthuriums cascading from the ceremony table with a gyp cloud hung above for “I Dos”. For the tables, there were gyp clouds down the centre of each adorned with white taper candles of varying heights and in front of the bride and groom, a stunning arrangement of white blousy roses, anthuriums and orchids.

The cake was baked by a family friend, who handmade sugar flowers of anthuriums and orchids. The florals from the ceremony table, were repurposed to complement the cake in the evening, adding a combination of cascading of gypsophila, white roses, anthuriums and orchids which glowed by soft candlelight throughout the evening reception.

Luxury wedding planners, Hardesty Event Design worked closely with the caterers, Brasteds crafting a 4 course menu using only the best locally sourced produce from across Norfolk and Suffolk including Brasted’s Beef Wellington and their G&T sorbet cones and paired wines for guests to enjoy.
