MARRIED AT WORSTEAD ESTATE

Sometimes, the timeline on a wedding is on the shorter side, but at Hardesty Event Design it’s so important that the level of detail and attention remains exquisite, whether we’re working with you over the course of months or years!

With Becky and Harley, we had six months to bring together a wedding weekend filled with fun, romantic details. Texture was important to add a stylish edge to the décor, with fabric drapery used as a ceremony backdrop and above the dancefloor (and speaking of the dancefloor – what an epic first dance these two had, complete with confetti and the sort of old Hollywood moves that are swoonworthy!).

We wanted to highlight and make space for the couple’s favourite things – Harley’s classic car made for some incredible photos and that timeless ‘just married’ feeling as the couple went for a drive, while a venue filled with flowers in shades of white and palest pink spoke to Becky’s love of all things floral. Check out the hanging installation of gypsophila clouds and glitter balls! The couple went the extra mile to add personal touches to so many elements of their day – including monogrammed stationery with a bespoke watercolour illustration that really set the tone for their guests.

Becky and Harley wanted their guests to feel relaxed and cared for, hosting their wedding celebration over several days, with a laid back and chic brunch held on the Sunday. The perfect way to end a perfect weekend.
