We first began working with Helen and Rory in October 2024. They had already chosen their venue and secured their key suppliers, but were not sure how to approach the styling, design, and pulling everything together to make their wedding feel truly theirs.

That’s where Hardesty Event Design stepped in.

I spent time getting to know them—the places they loved, the things that inspired them, and how they imagined their wedding day unfolding. I attended supplier meetings, menu tastings, and site visits, creating vision boards to shape the design process. With this insight, I recommended suppliers, shared styling advice, and developed concepts that not only brought their vision to life, but elevated it to something truly special.

Helen and Rory wanted a “chaotic greenhouse” feel, but with elegance and refinement. To achieve this, we brought the outdoors inside with two beautiful foliage hoops suspended in the marquee, an eclectic mix of potted herbs on the tables, and a statement entrance of herbs and trees to welcome guests. To refine and elevate the look, I sourced patterned table linens that tied everything together with understated elegance.

Through our bespoke planning and design service, Helen and Rory had confidence and peace of mind in the final eleven months of planning—knowing we were elevating their ideas, managing the details, and ensuring everything was under control on the day itself.
