Sometimes, even in the height of summer, the weather is not kind. Thankfully, sometimes, you have a couple whose commitment to having an absolute blast means it doesn’t matter in the slightest! We had to roll out our plan B for Amy and Amit as their outdoor ceremony was rained off, but they took it completely in their stride.

This was a wedding planned to show that refined elegance and playful whimsy are not mutually exclusive! There were bright pops of colour, an interactive glitter bar that had guests sparkling and shimmering their way through the reception, an ice cream cart and some serious dance moves!

Amy and Amit’s loved ones got involved with the planning, with a friend performing their ceremony, and another crafting a handmade welcome book. This was a wedding at which you could feel the love throughout the whole weekend – from the moment the couple first set eyes on each other in their wedding finery, through to the packed dancefloor and the relaxed summery lunch the following day. What an absolute dream of a couple to work with.
